D71 DEGREASER
The Powerful Solvent Degreaser for Engines

D71 DEGREASER is a powerful cleaning solution formulated to handle tough grease, oil, and grime. Perfect for using as a solvent degreaser for engines. It is a  is a combination of highly active solvents, surface-active agents and emulsifying agents. Due to its slow vaporizing/slow evaporating properties, it is a product made ideal for use in poorly ventilated areas.

D71 Properties:

  • Light yellow coloured non-corrosive
  • Flashpoint of 85°C
  • Not dangerous in use
  • Does not impair rubber or paint systems in normal use
  • Do not use D71 DEGREASER in immediate vicinity of naked flame

D71 DEGREASER can be used neat. Due to its properties it can be used universally on metallic, plastic, wooden or painted surfaces. In shipping D71 DEGREASER is used for air coolers, deck cleaning and in a 5 – 10% emulsion for the cleaning of cooling systems. D71 DEGREASER’S high emulsification powers will enable quick and efficient cleaning of engine room equipment, motors and machinery, large or small.

D71 can be used for the following applications but not limited to:

D71 DEGREASER can be applied neat to the part to be cleaned by means of sprays or brushes or can immerse the article in a bath of cleaning liquid. After a short soaking period it can be rinsed off with water. D71 DEGREASER can be safely applied an aluminium, zinc, copper, cast iron, chromium and on practically all painted surfaces.

  • Apply D71 DEGREASER neat to the surface to be cleaned.
  • Use a spray, brush, or immersion method.
  • Allow a short soaking time.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water

Light-Duty Cleaning 1 : 10 parts water
Medium-Duty Cleaning 1 : 7 parts water
Heavy-Duty Cleaning 1 : 4 parts water

  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin
  • Wear appropriate protective equipment, including gloves and goggles
  • Keep away from open flames and ignition sources
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight
