MAXCID is a powerful, acidic disinfectant cleaner. A pleasantly perfumed, acidic detergent disinfectant concentrate. The active ingredient being a Quaternary Ammonium Compound. It effectively kills bacteria and prevents scale buildup on hard surfaces. Ideal for industrial, institutional, and domestic use. Dilute according to instructions and ensure a 5-minute contact time for optimal disinfection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective gear.

MAXCID is recommended for use in industrial, institutional, and domestic areas for cleaning and disinfecting where bactericidal efficacy is required. It is suitable for cleaning walls, floors, change rooms, bathrooms, toilets and urinals. Due to its unique properties, it can be used as a maintenance cleaner to prevent scale build up in toilets, urinals and change room areas.

  • MAXCID is designed for application by rag, mop, sponge, or broom. It contains a special additive that allows it to maintain its strength in hard water areas.
  • It should be diluted accordingly:
  • For general disinfecting: 80 mL : 1 L clean water, pH 4
  • For heavy soiling and disinfecting: 100 mL : 1 L clean water, pH 3
  • To ensure disinfectant efficacy, a minimum contact time of 5 minutes should be maintained.

HAZARDS

  • Inhalation: No direct hazard established.
  • Skin: Corrosive. Can cause burns.
  • Eyes: Highly Irritating and risk of irreversible damage.
  • Ingestion: Irritating and nauseating.

CONDITIONS TO AVOID

  • Temperatures below 5oC and above 30oC
  • Direct sunlight
  • Incompatible materials
  • Bases, oxidising agents, reducing agents

Maxcid contains 3.25 % of a 50 % Q.A.C. as the active ingredient.

  • Do not ingest
  • Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin, and clothing
  • Wear impervious gloves (e.g., Nitrile)
  • Keep out of reach of children, and away from food and food contact areas
  • Appropriate PPE when handling product
  • Respiratory protection: N/A
  • Hand protection: Use impervious, chemical resistant rubber gloves (e.g., Nitrile)
  • Eye protection: Use face shield or goggles. Avoid direct contact.
  • Skin and body protection: Use protective clothing and barrier cream.

FIRST AID MEASURES

  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air. In case of discomfort, seek medical attention.
  • Skin contact: Flush with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. Use a skin cleaner. In severe casesrefer to a doctor.
  • Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, and refer to a doctor.
  • Ingestion: Wash mouth with plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Refer immediately to a doctor.

STORAGE
The shelf life is 24 months for unopened containers stored under moderate temperature conditions. Store only in original containers. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers that are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Store between 5°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not store or use with the following product types: Bases, Oxidising agents, Reducing agents. Keep away from food and drink. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
