Potent Acidic Detergent Disinfectant

CITROSAN is a pleasantly fragranced, acidic detergent disinfectant. The active ingredient being a Quaternary Ammonium Compound. With the inclusion of a non-ionic surfactant, it is an excellent emulsifier of oil and grease, and will consequently flush away soil and fatty residues. Contains a special additive that allows it to maintain its strength in hard water areas.

CITROSAN is recommended for use in industrial, institutional, and domestic areas for cleaning and disinfecting where bactericidal efficacy is required. It is suitable for use in toilets, urinals, drains, and bin areas. It is safe to use on all surfaces including steel, stainless steel, pipelines and tanks.

Citrosan is designed for application by rag, mop, sponge, broom, or by high-pressure spray. It should be diluted accordingly:
General sanitising: 80 mL : 1 L clean water, pH 4
For heavy soiling and sanitising: 100 mL : 1 L clean water, pH 3
To ensure disinfectant efficacy, a minimum contact time of 5 minutes should be maintained.

HAZARDS

  • Inhalation: No direct hazard established
  • Skin: Corrosive. Can cause burns
  • Eyes: Highly Irritating and risk of irreversible damage
  • Ingestion: Irritating and nauseating

PRECAUTION

  • Citrosan contains 3.25 % of a 50 % Q.A.C. as the active ingredient
  • Do not ingest
  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing
  • Keep out of reach of children, and away from food and food contact areas
